Another gun and another problem. Bought this Sheridan Blue Streak from Baker Airguns a few years ago and should have returned it. First, I have to cock the gun or it just leaks out the air as quickly as I pump so I cannot store with 2 pumps as I assume the cocking spring will get weak. I thought the gun should pump up without cocking it. Second is when pumping, the gun will sometimes discharge. If I put it on safety first, do not have a problem. Anyway what I do is cock, put on safety, pump up, load, click off safety and then shoot. Do you know what part it needs. I am thinking it is spring that got weak but have not taken apart the gun. Gun shoots with good power and does not leak once pumped up. I would like to know what to look for but if too difficult I am sending it in. Right now I am using Phil's Airgun Repair in Canton Ohio to repair my Crossman 140 and 761Xl. Need to repair this soon as an accident waiting to happen. Thanks for any replies.
