I have never owned one, but the platform is what the Benjamin Discovery is based on, so a lot of the Discovery mods and aftermarket parts will also fit the 2260.

I have a friend who is into the plug & play interchangeable crosman 22xx rigs. They are all pretty much the same so make it what you want. Ton's of after market parts. Hog it out on Co2 and you may get 18fpe, drop in a discovery valve ( and pin it, TKO should have directions or elsewhere ) keep the psi in a safe range and enjoy.
I believe 2 of these are HPA and 1 Co2
and a couple of my 22xx
and another of Steve's modded crosman's

So far I've added a marauder trigger and a boss valve from Alchemy Airworks and I just ordered a stainless steel extended bolt and tear drop handle and a muzzle brake(air stripper?) There's more bling that I wanna get but that will be on the horizon.

If you want a different stock, Boyd's inlets stocks for the Discovery which will likely fit the 2260.

Love shooting my Sheridan 2260MB. It's my favorite backyard gun. Any advice on getting a bit more power out of it for small pest control? Or is it asking too much from the gun. Not wanting to need more than one well-placed shot to take down small pests tearing up mama's garden. Nosy and picky neighbors, so I don't think a break barrel would be quiet enough. I have a suppressor on it and it's nice and quiet. Just looking for a bit more power. Any advice would be appreciated.

Not a whole lot to be gained from Co2. Open up the transfer port a little if you can, the 1377 folks replace it with a trimming of ice maker hose. Store it in as warm a place as you can before taking the shot.

No idea of this model but might it be similar to the CR2260? If so mods abound. In .22 warm day & mods on Co2 20fpe is pretty much the top end for power. No matter many of the crosman and QB type mods will increase power, and Co2 consumption.

As far as a power increase goes, getting away from the 12g powerlets and changing over to bulk fill would take you to the next level. The most difficult part of the conversion would be the two additional holes to accommodate the other two valve anchor screws.

What about the polished notched polymer-cored hammer. Speaking of it stirs up emotions for me. I had a 2300s w the mentioned hammer and it shot so dang hard and set itself apart from my other 22xx’s. I didn’t realize this until I’d sold it. Anyone else know about this?. I believe many 2300s are sold on eBay with the polymer hammer replaced by a factory one. Then it’s sold as aftermarket for $44+ ..

Crosman owns the rights to Sheridan name so I’d guess they’re very similar guns. Find the exploded views and look at them.
