Sharing a pic of my Marauder with custom stock

[Smaug]

I have a first generation "Made in the USA" Marauder, in .177. The only thing I didn't like is that the stock stock (ha) was not that comfortable to shoot from a bench. Or seated. Or prone. It's only good offhand. I finally found this beautiful lightly-used stock second-hand for $150 or so.

I can't recall who the woodworker was. If someone recognized the work, please let me know.

A gun should look as good as it shoots. My marauder was dead accurate so I dressed it up as well. Very nice stock you have.

That is beautiful. Someone put a lot of time and passion in that stock.

Very, very nice. Love the way the air tube is hidden down in the stock and the accents on the forestock and pistol grip really stand out. Heck of deal you found there.

That is SO much better looking than the original stock. Makes it look like a completely different gun.

Definitely looks like a Chavka stock-he seems to have fallen off the map, I used to see his posts on the Yellow fairly often, he'd even put up guns for sale with his stocks from time to time. Here's my ho-hum Corcoran stock.

Thanks, I do have a weakness for pretty stocks, I got that one used in pristine condition. It's getting some "experience" with me as the gun is a hunter.

Nice stocks, and the view from the deck is truly stunning! I'm in parched California and green foliage and open fresh water are a sight for sore eyes.
