I have the rti priest 2 performance ... It started out as a 22 but its now a 30cal.. still trying to find tips and tricks to make these guns better.. right now I'm getting over 30 shots at 850-860fps only filling to 3500psi.. I do believe the reg gauge is wrong because I was told 170bar should get around 950fps and airing on the side of cautious I have not tried anything past 200bar till I get a second air gauge put in.. I'm still working out the grouping there not bad but could be better.. let me know what u have done to make things better

I went on a little journey with mine. First trip was getting it quiet without hanging a can on the end of it. Then there was the slug trip when I built a TJ barrel for it. Then there was the versatility trip when I built a FX superior lined barrel for it. Went through a bunch of regs, big bottles and small. Hammer springs different hammer weights. Grips, butt stocks. Guess where the gun is at now, right back where it almost started. Reg set at 2k, stock hammer spring and weight shooting a max speed of 920fps with 25gr pellets. Velocity dialed back to 900/905fps. Using the stock CZ barrel. It’s just where the gun is really happy and a crazy accurate joy to shoot. Some of this journey I started topics about it here.

Good grief Blackpaw, that’s a tough one. The pic doesn’t show it because of perspective but they are almost the same size. If I don’t cheat and put a goose gun barrel on the FX, the Priest is the more versatile powerhouse. But it will never shoot and cycle as sweet as the FX. 50yrd accuracy is the same for both. The Priest edges it at 100 but it’s a .25. I figured if I typed enough words I could make a decision but I can’t. I guess that’s why I have both. I like shooting the FX offhand more than the Priest so I guess if I could only have one, I would have to change what I want out of an airgun. My airguns are like golf clubs. My drivers, RTI and Impact. Long irons, Dreamtac and Taipan. Four iron, P15, Kral Jumbo. Pitching wedge, Crosman bottled 2240....... you get the picture.
