My closest friend in the world a while back bought Gamo springer, a cheaper one, and has had no success with the springer shooting accurately. I have told him to do this and that to the rifle, i.e. give it a thorough cleaning and buy some quality pellets. Generally, if you buy poor quality your less likely have quality shooting, which we all know.
So last night I got sick of him telling me he couldn’t hit a pop can after I showed him some of my shots, i.e. slicing a playing card in half with a pellet, so I bought him tin of JSB exact and Polymags from Utah Airguns and had them shipped to his house in Montana. (Like I said he IS my best friend and oldest friend in the world and it is his birthday and xmas present in one.)
HOPEFULLY, after he gets good results and is convinced the quality of ammo you buy matters if you want accuracy. Are they the right pellets for his gun?!, don’t know, but any JSB pellet will be his walmart specials.
