don't know if I placed this post in the correct place as I normally don't start them..if it is in the wrong place moderator please move it to wherever it should be!
so I got a Seneca eagle claw 22 long version caliber referbished and I bought the moderator adapter in case I needed to put my Donny FL shogun on it.. it's almost plenty quiet as is but I noticed that it was missing the baffles when I installed the adapter..
so I called pyramid air and they didn't know how many it takes so got back to me later and said 3.. they fit snuggly but I actually saw the end of the barrel and the spacer for it, so I know that it didn't have one in it.. there's also numbers on the baffle package that seems to indicate that it takes 3.. however it will only take two.. third one would stick out and you couldn't put the muzzle cap on..
so my question is.. should I just put in the two? or should I put each baffle in the lathe and shorten it so all 3 fit? will 3 shorter ones work better than two factory ones?. I'm inclined to leave them factory, just because things are normally best left factory, but I thought I'd ask if anyone has any ideas..
and this post is meant just for the Seneca eagle claw, not trying to do anything else
I will have to say that out of every airgun I have shot it's my absolute favorite.. however it's the first pellet picky gun I have had..it will shoot anything as long as you set the power wheel correctly for the weight of the ammo.. unlike my Condor SS will eat anything at any setting even supersonic and still print dime size groups at 50 and 30 yards dead on.
