Just keep posting, sometimes it takes a few minutes for the system to recognize.

If I am reading your request properly, and you are trying to post message a member, if you see the option to do so when you click on their icon/image, you should be all set. My problem (and that of others) was not having the system allow me to even try to post message. Scotay42 may have read your situation better.

Correct, some of us don't even see the option to DM when hovering over a user. As I gathered only making substantive posts will have an admin/moderator activate the feature.

I can receive DMs but cannot send them. The funny thing is folks that joined the forum at the same time that I did (in the past few days) are DM(ing) me saying the feature works for them now.

PJ, I copy. I couldn't get anything to show up when I hovered or clicked on someone's icon for a while. I decided to email the admin. About five or six (or a week?) days later, things went live. Whether my email did anything to speed things up, I cannot say. It eventually works. This seems like an AGN rite of passage.

You need to do 10 post, meaningful 10 post. I feel that I have done this, but still waiting on this to open up for me as well. Some say it takes 24 hrs or so, just give it some time I'm sure it will work it self out.

Also don't expect that it will happen immediately. It seems like it is a manual process by the mods and even if you have over 10 posts it could still be 6-8 days later before you are activated.

I also cannot leave a PM on Classifieds.
I am trying to contact a seller about a rifle for sale but this website wont let me contact. really frustrating. Guess this is a bust.
