Selling an airgun. Please help

Funny you said that. I paid a guy 220.00 in 2006 and never got what I paid for. I had to remind him by showing a picture of the receipt in an e-mail He was making batches of items and selling them on a forum site. I got my gizmo from him in the next batch. He used my walmart cash for groceries and forgot where it came from.

Well I've sold firearms on Armslist. The buyer asked me to take my firearm to an FFL in the area and call him. He spoke with the FFL to verify that I did in fact have the firearm I was selling and also to verify the condition. Also, I don't take cashiers check or any checks from potential buyers....only postal money orders. So far so good. Hope this helps. Ron

I have always asked the buyer to call me on the phone. Scammers are dodgy and sometimes have language issues. Usually gun guys like to talk. They have some questions about the rifle, how you used it, want to talk about details and specs in general. I haven't had any problems yet.

Hoot, I once bought a scope from Sir Ville over in Sweden. He sent me the scope and said if I didn't like it return it, If I did like it paypal him the funds. I paypaled him the funds. He trusted me though out the purchase.
