Yep, read the rules. You have to meet certain meaningful posting requirements and length of time as a member. These rules are in place to protect the members from scammers doing the hit and run thing.
I wouldn't attempt buying and selling on any forum that don't have minimum requirements.

It is a requirement. What else can they do if their objective is just the classifieds?

They just dont know about the catch-22 of classifieds. You have to have X number of positive feedback before a lot of users will buy from you. But you cant get feedback unless you sell to users.

To avoid starting a new thread. I do not see where it requires 10 posts in order to be permitted to sell an item in the exchange rules?

I could be overlooking it? I do have an item I’d like to list so I’ve been looking into the legitimacy of selling it here. I do understand I am new but other forums I frequent require a certain amount of activity first so I wanted to double check
