Daystate Self adjustment on regulator of my Delta Wolf........ ???

When I received my Delta Wolf three weeks ago I raised the regulator to 178 bar.

Now, without doing anything, it is in 165 bar.

Do Regulators have a settle period in which they may suffer changes?

I would appreciate your feedback.

That's a significant change. A few questions:

1. Is your tank pressure greater than 180b?
2. Is that reading during normal ambient temperatures?
3. Is that sitting overnight unused?
4. After a few shots does it return to 178b?
5. What is the maximum working pressure of the regulator?

This issue has been discussed in the UK regarding mostly the Alpha Wolf, however we are all mostly sub 12, the problem remains the same, quite wide variations in reported reg pressure regardless of fill pressure, and also some reports of regulator pressure drops and taking a few seconds to recover, my AW originally had its reg pressure set to 108bar but would drop with fill pressure down to around 95bar, but I reset reg pressure to 80bar, and now I only see a drop of a couple of bar over the entire pressure range, however the reported reg pressure still drops by around 3bar after each shot, but I am fairly certain that its down to the slow response of the electronic pressure sensor which sits in the plenum.

1 - As the tank pressure changes my reg pressure changes. A replacement reg did not help that. It would sway about 5 bar over the range of 250 bar down to around 180.
2 - Settled reg changes. I found when I would increase the reg pressure I would need to take a few shots and then increase it a bit more and do this a few times to get the reg to settle where I wanted it.

I don't have the Alpha any longer, but for each adjustment I did it did remain stable (within the 5 bar change with tank pressure changes).

Exactly the same experience. Continually drifting down after an adjustment. Sometimes weeks before settling. The only solution seems to be readjust upwards and then the reg goes into the same pattern of behaviour. Downwards.

And, in Factory Mode with GCU P/MV compensation, a wandering reg pressure is not a big deal provided P does not drop to P(min) or lower.

Pretty easy to check with the onboard display. I wouldn't be sweating it too much if I owned one.

Maybe the electronics have the alternative of playing with the flow in order to reach best efficiency….

It's worth sweating a little bit if you ever plan to use the advanced settings. They are more static and a changing reg pressure will impact fps over a fill.

My Delta is really consistent on desire fps, notwithstanding changes shown on regulator bars.

Some people would say if you are using the advanced settings, you might as well buy a Ghost.
