Hi, 

I am a little confused about how and when you get 18 hours stand by and when you get 300 hours standby.

Is this correct? : Simple Mode has no effect on battery life. 

FillWakeUp ON: 18 hours standy

FillWakeUp OFF: 300 hours standby

Does WakebyShot effect the battery life?

Does WakebyShot also need to be OFF for 300 hours? 

WakebyShot ON: ? standby time

WakebyShot OFF: ? standby time

Actually I don't think any of those have impact on battery life. The two setting you should concern yourself with are Screen Off and Power Off. 

Turning the screen off after 10-15 seconds will extend battery.

Setting Power Off is what will really impact your battery life. If Power Off timeout is disabled you will get the 18 hours standby. If you set Power Off to say 10 or 15 minutes you will get the longer standby time.
