Just in case yall wanted to see what’s inside of the Sekhmet digital gauge. Gen 1 pro. I had one that was dead. Asked a few times in a thread and via emails if the battery was replaceable. Didn’t really get a response except to offer a new gauge at a discount.
So for those wondering. NO you can not replace the battery. It and the rest of the parts are siliconed and or epoxied in.
Using a sharp pointed blade at the edge I was able to get under the face and work my way around. It’s put on with some very solid 2 sided tape and you pretty much destroy the gauge separating it. There is also a very fine circuit at the top that you can’t help but cut when you do it.
