FX Sekhmet Customer Support - Update & Assistance

Wouldn't turn on... Not your issue. The updater solved it.

Thank you. I did not think it would have been my issue. The reason that I asked and which your confirmed is their claim/excuse that updates (firmware) are only for quality of life stuff and not bugs. Anything just to explain away why the cheap cable was not included. I mean even in your case imaging if you did not have to wait for a cable, ie if it was included. I have no idea where mine is coming from, but as I dont even have a tracking number and overseas. It probably is going to be a few weeks.

Tell me Macten, in all honesty as not a biased party. Do you think it could have been expected for them to add a 3 dollar cable to sucha an expensive device? Just your opinion. We know their already. Or are my expectation completly unrealistic?

It cannot cost them much more than that if they are selling them for 15usd. That is all I am trying to say. There is really no excuse/reason not to including except what I have mentioned. You are 100% not the only one that it has helped for sure. I am sure there are many more people. All of whom would have not had to wait for a cable (free or paid). Anyway I have over explained this. I am happy the other guy is happy that his has not failed yet. I am quite certain most of the units work, otherwise they would have gone broke. I have gotten lemons before. That is part of life. That was not my main point.

Actually Nicole I have even found a bug. Even tought you say they dont exist and firmware does not fix them. I am more than 100% sure, that I am not the only one with this particualar issue, bugs like this are really not one off, so I leave it to you if you want to deny if you have seen it or not.

The second unit, which does work. Every time I have set it to "regulator" mode. Cause it is in the regulator and I wont need the "Pro" features on that. After some time (power off), when I turn it back on, it would be back on Pro mode. Like it does not save the setting permanently as it should.

Why is this do you think is causing this? O-rings?

EDIT: I can confirm as soon as it shuts down it will reset. that is 2 mins. I made a full video and uploading now.

Here is the video proof.

It is 3 mins cause I had to wait for it to shut off and the min time is 2mins as you know. You can just skip that part.

So now what? I guess now you can indeed refund me the cost of that stupid cable as now you finaly have a valid reason to send me one for free.
Keep saying that firmware update does not fix any bugs...☹️
We apologize for the trouble caused by the "mode jumping" issue. This problem can indeed be resolved with a firmware update, and we will process a refund for the cost of the updater cable for you.

Thank you for your patience and understanding throughout this process. If you encounter any issues while updating the firmware, feel free to reach out to us for assistance.
