Other Sekhmet 2nd Generation 28Pro Gauge Firmware Update Failure

My current Firmware version is V6.0C 23F03 trying to update to the latest Version V6.4C 25A09.
One of my two gauges seems to have a bug, won't stay on Regulator setting, keeps defaulting to Pro setting.
I haven't found any information about the latest firmware version, but thought it might fix the bug.

Followed the step-by-step guide, Gauge displayed DFU-2304 R 2 Exit. Clicked Next and the programmer displayed "No response from device" error message, and the programmer would not proceed to next step. Attempted a few times to start over from the beginning of the process and then my Sekhmet 28Pro Gauge freezes displaying the battery charging icon.

I have to wait about 48 hours, for the battery to drain, before I can restore function of the gauge.

The gauge finally discharged and shut down, I fully recharged the gauge. After restoring the Gauge, I attempted to try again with another laptop.
On the 1st attempt, after connecting the cable, the Gauge freezes on the charging progress bar.

The 1st failed attempt was on a laptop running Windows 11.
The 2nd failed attempt was on a laptop running Windows 10.

I found a post about this issue, on Facebook from almost a year ago, but no resolution was discussed.

I was really interested in the 25mm Sekhmet gauges but quality control issues and post of cons issues with firmware scared me away from them. Sure would have been nice to replace all those hard to read 25mm gauge.
The Gen II 25 mm gauges are working perfect. No bugs...

Nicole Rae ([email protected]) is the person to discuss this with. She has taken over a number of positions within Sekhmet and does an outstanding job at customer service. Good luck to ya.
Nicole contacted me via email:
"Thanks for your time & the details. Here are two likely points where the selection might be off:

1.Did you locate the new COM port? If it's a new port, then it might be the next one...
2.For the garbled text section, select the 5th option. From your screenshot, there are other options above—please scroll the right-hand roller to the very top first, then count down to the 5th item. Other users have encountered "DFU-2034 R 2 Exit" due to misselecting here."

The update issues were due to some errors/missing information in the step-by-step guide, which led me to mis-select the 5th option:

And that's why I had my kid do them for me. It also required a different program to unzip the files. So, did you get it updated.
I didn't have any problem uncompressing the .rar file for the programmer.
I just didn't see the the drop-down menu slider, which was at the bottom 5 options by default.
I thought I was counting down 5 options from the top row, but was inadvertently counting down to option 13 from option 9 in the drop-down menu.

1st photo shows the slider at the bottom of drop-down menu. Option 13 selected.
2nd photo shows the slider at the top of the drop-down menu. Option 5 selected.

After moving the drop-down menu slider and selecting the correct option (photo 2) the firmware upgrade went smoothly.
Updated the firmware successfully!
