Seems like destiny is against me getting a RWS D54

The thing about springers that I like is that it's relaxing to shoot them. I used to just grab one and some pellets and go to the backyard and shoot for the enjoyment of shooting. But lately, with high shot count PCPs I haven't shot any of my springers. I've always wanted a D54 or 56 but my concern is that after a short romance I will start back just shooting my PCPs in the backyard and it will start collecting dust like my other springers.

I have owned two Diana 54s and they are incredible guns. Both of mine were .22. One I sold early on to be able to afford the purchase my first pcp. The second one was purchased expressly to set-up for a friend of mine and once set-up, I sold it immediately.

They are truly in a class all to themselves in terms of high powered spring accuracy. They are loud and the moving stock is a little hard to get used to, they are really heavy, but mine were not at all pellet sensitive, they were tack drivers and hit the target hard. For the money, they are a great investment, especially if you can shoot from a rest most of the time.

Blackdiesel, get 54. I have 3 springers on my bucket list. The FWB 124d a scary accurate and was my favorite until the Air King in .22 fell off the brown truck traveling my street. Mounted a swfa 10x sf MD. Have the dropper but not needed. Jsb 15.9 @ 745 zeroed @ 40 and a small cloverleaf @ 50. A few starlings @ 80 yds. Just shy of 20 fpe this 54 rocks. Amazingly accurate for a Springer. Trolling for a FWB 300 for the triple. For pure fun the 54 keep Cricket in the gun rack. BUY..
