You would be better off just buying what you want. You will spend more in the long run trying to change a budget gun into what you really want in the first place.

BAM B40 .22
I have a good condition BAM B40 for sale. Had some galling problems in the main tube. Pulled apart and replaced the piston bearings with TX200, polished and lubed with moly. No problem now. Gun shoots great. $275 shipped. Loved CPHP. Scope and rings not included.

I also had a B40 from Flying Dragon. I also had a Beach TX at rhe same time . Mike ( from flying dragon ) massaged the B40 and it shot very similar to the TX. A good copy no doubt about it.
