I have got a benjam franklin model 317 in .177 made around 1957.Someone has taken the seals off the pump rod n maybe something else ? I need to find a place to get a schematics to see just what else maybe missing.I also need to know where to get the parts ,seals for sure . Might someone know where to buy these items .I have not had any luck finding these. I would be thank full for some suggestions . Terry at [email protected] Thank you for the help !

john i phoned crossman tech.dept. they told me that the benjamin 317 was deemed unsafe as it would fire when dropped because of this they had destroyed all paper work n parts

That's the first I've heard about safety issues on the old Benjis, though I am not very familiar with the old multi-pumps. If I were you I'd give Tim at Mac1 or the guy at Baker airguns a call and ask their opinions. Tim at Mac1 is a wizard with multi-pumps and very informative if you catch him when he has time to talk.
