Scratched my slug gun itch

Well all after seeing all the slug hoopla I decided I wanted to get in on the action!!! Have many guns that do damn good with slugs but wanted to get a "small caliber" slug shooter and boy did I ever...

FX Impact MK2 .22 700mm Superior Heavy with the Matt Dubber slugger treatment....I wanted to keep the color stock so did not get the cerakote done but other than that she has the slug power kit, different hammer spring and valve spring etc.

Shoots the NSA 31.2 at 1010 FPS hole in hole!! On power 1 she slings the 25.39 Redesigns at 920 with the same accuracy.....

Went with a Huma reg just for peace of mind and couldn't be happier with how it came out....

70 FPE in .22 and whisper quiet (Huma 40/5 moderator).....

Reg is at 145 bar with the hammer spring about a turn and a bit out from max....

Sorry for the crappy pic but I am about as good of a photographer as I am a ballet dancer.....

Atlas bipod and Hawke Sidewinder 6-24x56 FFP scope on No Limit rings round her out.

I feel your excitement Doc, I built my own Matt Dubber Edition in 25 cal. Just upgraded a used Mk2 PP in Blk Multicam, with a slug kit, Ernest Rowe dual transport and superior liner. At 124 bar, I'm sending 34gr Varmint Knockers at 960fps, 26gr NSA dish based at 1015fps and routinely under MOA at 100yds. I've been knocking down ground squirrels and quail at 180 yards, ranging, dialing and holding for wind! Its like hitting a perfect serve, on the green in one, or nothing but net, you just want keep doing it again and again and again!

Btw, I just received a standard and heavy superior liner in 30 cal, going to setup that Mk2 PP in silver i bought from you 5 or 6 months ago. Its been a tack driver with pellets, but now I want see the 30cal slug potential. Going to start with NSA 43gr and see how they can out do the 25cal. 

Don't know why you sold it, but I've been really satisfied with the silver 30! Thanks again!

I am a pellet shooter for the most part but sure was interesting seeing what a .22 can do now days!!

Awesome Doc! Am still using that Daystate Hp R .22 to chase coyotes—-have not used any slugs yet. Could we please get an eye level pic of that setup? Does that moderator come with it ?

Ha, yeah I will get a better pic or two up....Nope the moderator was not included. Went with the Huma to give it a bit more balance to help balance the power and not have any "muzzle flip" with the power it generates.....

Good luck on the .30 slug shooter....I have an Uragan King .30 that loves the 49.5 NSA slugs!! Very glad your still enjoying the Impact....I remember I was so excited when I got the call they were in stock I bought 4 and that's one of the .30 I passed onto you....

I enjoy the slugs and power and all that but will be sticking with pellets but at least I can say I was one of the cool slug kids for awhile!!

Derrick is working on a .25 Wildcat MK3 Sniper for me as we speak and might see how .25 slugs do in that one but its hard to beat the 33.95 JSB for me....

Mikelo123, Looks like you narrowed your search down and ordered exactly what you wanted for slugs. What a set up you have!!! WoW.

Your MK3 .30 I have shoots the 50gr Varmint Knockers 1/2" @50yds pushing 921fps with the HUMA reg. installed and shoots the JSB 44.75 1 hole at the same. Ernest Rowe transfer port on the way to kick it up a notch, can't wait to tune it !!!

Wow! That silver is just awesome! And I'm jelly on that slug set up. I just got the 30 cal 700mm a couple days ago in bronze, yeah I'm in love. Any one know where I could find a 700mm 22 cal slug barrel?
