Just seeing if any one else has picked up one of the newer 5500 psi carbon fiber scotts. I bought a 5.5 Scott I think 90 min last year on eBay for a reasonable price and still lots of good years for legal hydrogen testing if needed. Just letting you know they are for sale used on eBay from time to time. The 5500 psi tanks make shooting 4500 psi big bores regulated possible. I have yet not invested in a long-term reliable air source. I currently use a yong heng but am going to invest in a larger air driven booster pump to fill.my 5500 psi Scott scba. I'm just putting this out here because the components are available to fill 5500 psi tanks and regulate with aqua environment regulator to 4500 psi . The 4500 psi kits in Airforce Texans do make a amazing amount of power with the heavy slugs per caliber. I shoot tethered 90% of the time.

Pretty cool set up. I also like the option Mr hollow point uses. 4500psi tank cascade connected to a second tank that is regulated down to shop compressor psi that is sent to a booster. It effectively allows you to use most your air in one tank and remain at 4500psi. Very large set up tho.

More of these 5.5 Scott scba tanks will show up . shooting regulated from 5500 to 4500 psi will.give.you quite a few shots at constant velocity off your tank. If I'm going to invest in a.consistent reliable air source it is going.to be at least 5500 psi. I'm prob going to buy a larger air driven booster pump. I'm real impressed with the numbers of velocity from the African air ordinance Texan upgrade . I wanna.shoot off my regulator. Just as.I have been but at 3625psi 750 fps 650 grains and at 4500 psi upgrade 900 fps + with the 650 grain. The 30 cal African air ordinance upgrade shoots the high b.c 230 30 caps at close to 900 fps 34 in barrel. The performance from 4500 psi is definitely better in big bores. Getting the solution to shoot it tethered easily is the end goal.
