Scoped out my first permission this morning.

Went and looked at my first permission this morning. Was there for about an hour and half scoping it out looking for hot spots and I found two. The road sits above the roofs of the barns quite a bit , no chance of a round making it up there and hitting anything, it's too steep, more of a wall than a hill.

I saw the activity of these fat nasty wood rats today in broad day light. Land owner isn't going to go out with his. 22 powder burning pistol for 4 or 5 nights before I go there next Saturday night with my .177 impact setup for night pesting, it should be an eventful evening.

I've got two micro SD cards on the way to record.


Can't wait.

is it just rats or birds also looks like a nice little spot for sure, any spot to shoot birds is way cool. wish i could get a local farmer to let few guys shoot as west of me there is feew dairy farms. maybe after my back heals up ill try to get a place to take some pest birds down

This is just rats. Another farm west of me has a pigeon problem I'm going to scope out soon.
