With all due respect, it appeared to me to be a "skip-shot", which wounded the bird. I prefer a solid one-shot kill taken well within my and my guns abilities. When executed appropriately, this will result in a humane and quick death.
Might I be so bold as to suggest you reevaluate your shooting distances and POI placement?

For me it was an OK shot.Cause we have to Halal the bird using knife.Though the bird didn't move when I went to retrieve it.
The gun was zeroed at 50yards.I don't have a range finder that's why only approximate ranging.
