Scope with camera

Hi All

I am very new in this field. I need to use a scope with video recording and have no basic knowledge.

Pls refer any reading material or tutorials to know all about scope, camera, rangefinder, night vision etc..

Best wishes

Imran

@Paktire What do you intend to do with your scope camera? Are you specifically seeking a scope with a built in camera or a camera that attaches to a rifle scope that you already own? Is this for day time or night time filming/shooting?

Thanks for your reply.

I intend to use it for both day and night shooting. Mostly birds.

Can I get a scope with built-in range finder and camera?

What is better....... A built in camera or attachable camera unit? How WiFi come into this and what are pros and cons.

Thanks once again

Imran

@Paktire Do you intend to shoot birds at night or do you only want the convenience of having night vision with nothing in mind? I’m about to go hunting and I only own cameras that can be attached to my riflescopes. I will let others with more experience in this area provide detailed information from their experiences. You can probably find a more answers in the “Hunting” forum if you ask members who have filmed bird pesting videos. Consider asking them what they use if you like the quality of their video. I can say this, if you want a brand new digital scope camera with a range finder it will cost substantially more money than a unit without a rangefinder. When I say this I am thinking of ATN and Pard 008 digital camera scopes. Search the AGN forums using keywords or phrases like: “scope camera,” “night vision scope,” or “digital scope” and read some of the threads in the search results. Here are a couple of links to threads to help get you started.

I have an ATN 4k Pro, you can get one for around $600,00 Plus the rangefinder for about $400. I've seen some Pard videos they look good also. The best are around $10,000. So that's the low and the high end, plus anything between there.
I'm pretty happy with mine, I would get the 5-20x instead of the 4-16x if I had to do it again.
