Scope suggestion for Gamo Whisper Fusion Elite

This gun surprises me with its accuracy even with the pos scope it comes with. I need a scope that will focus at say 8 yards at a higher power than 4x for hunting rats in tight spots.
i also need a forgiving eye relief, I struggle with it because of my old eyes and glasses.
please consider mounting options with your suggestions or to use factory base, thx.

Decent in exspenive scope would be a center point 3x9 with Mildot Around 60 bucks

Leapers utg 3-9x32 with AO down to 5 yds for about 80.00 or leapers utg 3-9x40 AO down to 5 yds for about 100.00 would be my first two. They stand the recoil well.

Ya can't bring myself to buy another CP scope. My Umy shook one to pieces and I vowed to never buy another.

Well we will see. I ordered an UTG BugBuster 3x9x32 and a UTG dovetail to weaver adapter.
