I just ordered a hw50 and hawke AirMax 3-9 by 40 scope. Any recommendations on rings? I also ordered the utg weaver to picatinny conversion rail.

I usually try to keep my HW50S's simple. Hawke 4x12x40 Vantage scope and basic low/med UTG rings or one piece mount. I haven't used a weaver/picatinny rail on any springers.

pretty sure hawke has their own line of rings i'd probably go with those ... an interesting look is westhunter rings in an array of rainbow fruity colors, pretty neat actually .. id say go with a medium ring unless your barrel sits lower than the receiver a tad, then you might get away with low ... its best if the ring lists saddle height, then you can mock up the objective size for a good guess ...

Pretty sure HW factory supies sportmatch rings. I bought mine after the fact. But is what I use on my hw50
