Purchased a Daystate Pulsar and added an Athlon 4-14x 42mm on Med rings and it doesn't fit in case. What are some scope/ring combinations that will fit?

I have a 4-16x50 Trijicon AccuPower on mine. It’s in a medium height UTG Accu-Sync mount. I did have to trim the foam in the case to get it to fit.

I originally installed a MTC Viper Connect 3-12x24 and the MTC one piece mount. Liked the scope but found while hunting I could not see the parallax adjustment numbers or dot without turning the rifle sideways due to the rear scope mount support obstruction.
Changed to a Blackhound 4-14x44 with medium rings and found it will not fit in the case. Distance from the bottom of the grip to top oft he scope is greater than the height of the case. I purchased a case from https://www.caseclub.com/ Midsize Universal Rifle Carry Case - With PE Flat Foam for $69.95 and free shipping. The foam needs to be cut for the Pulsar but that was not difficult and the even include a box cutter style foam cutter that worked well. Not the strongest case nut OK for transporting in the car and for storage. Would not take as checked baggage on a plane. They also sell replacement foam so can reuse the case if the future.
I may try to use the MTC again with one or two scope mounts on the front side of the scope.
