Scope rings and moderator

Hello, I put some low mount rings on my Benjamin Cayden, the mag cleared the scope fine, but when I looked three the scope there it was! A nice crescent at the bottom of my scope picture.. I was trying to get the scope as close to the barrel /bore that I could. I am glad that I didn't buy the rings, borrowed from a friend. So if you are trying out different rings be mindful of your moderator.

Try increasing the magnification on your scope. You shouldn't see it after 4x-6×.

Using medium rings my 44 mm scope objective lens is less than 1/8" clearance to the receiver and no problems with the moderator in the scope picture.

i dont mind a friont sight etc at the bottom of my optic image .. as long as its at the bottom .. then again i dont do 250y holdovers like some of these pros around here lol ..

I went with med mounts and all is good! " I can see clearly now the ring is gone" "I can see all obstacles in my way"!!
