Scope recommendations for more forgiving eye box

I currently have a Hawke Varmint 2.5-10. It's basically one step above the cheapie Centerpoint scopes in price and features. It has side parallax which is really nice, but the reticle isn't particularly great.

At 10x, the eye box is extremely unforgiving. If I set it up in a t-shirt, the thickness of the shoulder straps on my Camelbak is enough to put my eye outside the eye box.

Is this something that's generally better with higher end scopes, or is a bigger eye box something I have to specifically look for?

I am going to say something moderately unforgivable. I have a variety of scopes. When I compared how big the eye box was at 10X power, the UTG side focus scopes beat my Vortex, Centerpoint, BSA and Athlon scopes rather largely. Now if they just had crystal clear glass; they would be awesome. For the record, at 10X power, the Athlon Argos has the smallest Box but it has all the cool features and glass which appears to be as good as the Vortex.
