Scope recommendation for .22 Benjamin Marauder Pistol

I have a new .22 Benjamin Marauder Pistol arriving Thursday and was wondering what scope you p-rod shooters have on your pistols. I have 3-9x40 Hawke Vantage scopes on my air rifles, but wasn't sure how one would work on a pistol. Reckon they're too large?

I'm a target shooter. Max range in my yard is about 35 yards.

if your using it on the bench you can pretty much put any scope you want on it, ive seen guys with scopes as long as the gun on them before lol .. of course for pesting your going to want something light and streamlined thats fast on target ..

I just did recommendations for the 750 5 hours ago it is on the pistol forum ,also have a Prod,would be the same scopes for any pistol ,or short Burris 7x.I only use pistol scopes and red dots on pistols..

I shoot mine as a carbine, so I put a 2-7X32 Hawke Airmax on mine. Been pleased with that one on it, light and plenty of glass for that range.

I use a Bug Buster on my Prod carbine.it seems a rifle scope works on a converted pistol to carbine because of the eye relief...

In have the Hawke Airmax Touch on one of mine. Zero eye relief. Pairs nice with a P-rod. Super clear for up to 40yds. Compact and lightweight.

Try your Hawke 3-9x40 on the Prod and see how it works for you. No harm, no foul. Put it back on the original.

Others suggested LPVO's. This is a great option as well as ACOG's.

I have a Holosun 2MOA red dot on mine and it works great for targets out to 25yds and pesting to 30-40 yds.

Thanks guys for your contributions. Lot of good recommendations. But first, as 2L8 suggested, I'm gonna try one of my Hawke Vantage 3-9x40 scopes on it. I'll be shooting mine as a carbine, with the stock added.

As a carbine? Any decent scope will do. (Not the cheap crap!) I have the SWFA 10x scope on mine.

I have a 3-9x40 Hawke Vantage mounted to my prod and my 1720T that I shoot in a carbine form also. Works great.

I've used a 3-9 bug buster on one prod that sees duty in our avocado grove for five - six years, then upgraded to a 3-12. It may not be scope nirvana for one of those pretty prods, but it works very well on a sub $400 field gun.

Yep, it's a little top heavy. I would be really handy for pesting at night. I didn't care for the balance and had some QC issues so back it went.

Edit: Short eye relief will require carbine mode with a stock. I believe there's a video with one of the female airgun influencers using an ATN on a Prod.

Can someone recommend a mounting system that will work with Picatinny rails? ATN scope is too big for the current rail.
