Scope question

The Wehrauch 3-9x40 AO Mildot looks just like a BSA Airgun scope and it's a bit overpriced IMHO. Telltale sign the screw in front and rear lens covers just like the BSA and the sunshade and the smell no really smells just like a BSA scope too. I got mine for FREE when I purchased my new HW100k Bullpup as an AoA promotion. Yo!

I have a Leupold VX Freedom EFR 3X9 AO and also a UTG 3X9 X 50 mm True Hunter with illuminated reticle. I love my Loopys but for my air rifles the UTG gets it hands down. The reasons being, mil dot reticle, 50mm lens, precise zero hold and repeatabiltiy. The UTG also has exposed lockable turrets that are crisp. The Loopy turrets on the VX Freedom are a step down from the VX2 IMO. $100 on Ebay from Circuit City. Also the AO on the Loopy actually rotates over a full turn which can be a bit confusing for some if you go past 10 yards and continue past infinity which will appear as infinity when in fact is more like 7 yards. I have the UTG True Hunter without the illuminated reticle as well and feel the fast focus eyepiece on the newer illuminated models is built better. Nothing wrong with the Loopy Freedom on my rimfire because I don't dial but on my air rifles exposed lockable turrets are a must.
