Scope Options

I know posts like this come up all the time but I need some input from you guys that have already gone through this.

I just ordered the Marauder 25. I will not be using it for long distance target shooting. Most of my shooting will be from 10-25 yards with most being in the 10-15 yard range. Yes I will have an occasional 50 yard shot.

Clarity at 10 yards is a most. I see some scopes advertise clarity from 10 yards to infinity but have problems at 10 yards.

I'm looking for a quality scope that isn't going to break the bank. Any recommendations will be appreciated.

I read some great reviews on the Athlon Talos scopes, I also like Simmons scopes, or an old used Japan Tasco, as far as bang for the buck for under $150. I let others chime in on magnification. I gather 2-7x but not more than 10x.

I have a UTG 3-9 X 40 Mil-Dot on mine on mid height rings (included with the scope) model # SCP-U394AOIED $90 from Midway.
