What spec do I look at to tell how close I can focus the scope?

Where does the parallax adjustment begin. 10 yards is probably the shortest distance. That’s one of the first things you want to shoot close.

The UTG “Bug Buster” series will focus down to approx. 10’ feet (3 meters). The glass isn’t anywhere near what you’ll find for $500 but for <$100.00 not bad. I would recommend the non-illuminated reticle but that a personal choice.
