On my other springers, I’ve used the Sportsmatch T02C and T04C (medium height) with good results.
For the HW50 I‘m getting, I was planning on ordering the Hawke 3-12X44 SF IR. However, it’s a 30mm tube. When I looked at the Sportsmatch 30mm offerings there was only one available in medium height (T035C). Problem is, that set is out of stock at every US retail outlet I searched. Every other Sportsmatch I found was a high and not medium height. Sportsmatch says their medium T035C will clear a 44mm objective and I would like to stay as low as possible. Should I look at another mount manufacturer or just get the “high” mounts from Sportsmatch? How important is a lower scope height (as long as it fits and is comfortable)? Any other premium mount recommendations? Thanks
