Scope mounting in PCP and Springer

Hello! I have a pcp rifle with a picatinny rail I am interested in mounting a scope on.

Now I know that with actual firearms it is recommended to place the rings on the rail at the prefered position and push them to the front as you are tightening them. Assuming the rings have the recoil bar or whatever it's called on their underside, that would help with keeping zero by managing the gun's recoil backwards which would want to push the scope forward.

Does the same method of ring mounting apply to pcp rifles? I know that the recoil on a .22 is not remotely the same as a firearm but is the logic the same and you would want to push the ring forward instead of backwards when tightening?

I am curious to know the answer to this even if it doesn't really matter due to the low power (might as well mount it right from the beginning, even if overkill)

Thank you!

what works best 'for me' is to really go slow and even with mounting a scope, get it all together and located then snug lightly with fingers then snug the ring caps on lightly and evenly, then snug the bases down slightly THEN, get the caps seated down firm but not finished off, then finish the bases, then finish the caps .. theres no room in there really to pull or push them, the goal is to make sure theyre as straight on the tube as possible and theres no uneven forces being tweaked into it .. a springer is a different animal though, it definitely needs something to lock it down lol ...
