Scope mount stop pin depth

On my AA Pro Sport, I've noticed that the stop pin for scope mounts can be screwed down far enough to lock against the trigger housing. I don't know if you're supposed to do that but I don't like it. It causes you to have to remove the scope to remove the trigger housing so the gun can be disassembled.

I loctite my pin and screw it in just shy of contacting the trigger housing.

"Brian10956"It probably only needed on a springer or a larger caliber rifle that recoils. On pcp rifle I don’t think it’s necessary.
Right. Usually only required on a springer or piston gun. I was just wondering, surely guys aren't screwing their stop pins deep enough to interfere/bottom out on internal components like the trigger housing.
