What is the max scope length that can be mounted on an HW77 and/or HW97 without overhanging the loading port?

Depending on eye relief about 16". I wouldn't worry about overhanging the port though. Its easy to load regardless. The TX200 is more difficult to load than the 97K but my sunshade completely covers the breech on that as well and I still have no issues loading it.

I should have also noted that my scopes only overhang the breech because of the sunshades. Most scopes will not cover it if they do not have a sunshade installed.

Depends on where you want your eyepiece located for eye relief, top is a 77 and middle is a 97.
