Scope help (please help odyle)

It's the cheapest through EBay with free shipping.

You can choose to pay more money for it elsewhere or order direct from the company and pay almost double the price and pay full retail for it if you want.

Just want to say thanks. I’ve followed your posts advising people on scopes for a while now, and just took the plunge and bought the AIM Sports 4.5-27 on eBay!

Gotta say I really like the Alpha 6, BUT the Hawke Frontier 5-30X56 IR Mil Pro Reticle has beautiful glass and a super reticle. This is my new favorite scope. Eye box is very friendly, 102mm eye relief, clear and crisp H7 optics, and weighs in at 1 lb. The center lighted Mil Rad reticle offers accurate mil spacing at 20X.

Comes with zoom throw lever, metal flip up caps, ocular fast focus with lock ring, exposed zero lock turret, and daylight bright LED IR - oh and also a sun hade. You can look through it all day without eye fatigue, no distortion and CLEAR out to full power.

Wow, I should do a review on this scope. It's a great one. Never had a Hawke scope that touches this one.

I seem to specifically remember Odoyle/Yo!/Coldking claiming that clicking with ANY Chinese scope was a bad idea and they simply wouldn't hold up. He recommended against it specifically if I remember correctly.

Centercut recently changed my mind about clicking Chinese scopes. I wouldnt click a Hawke or MTC though. I had a couple Chinese Bushnell Engage scopes fail due to clicking thats why I originally quit clicking Chinese scopes.

I totally get it they ALL will wear out sooner or later. Thats what their Lifetime Warranties are for.

Coldking doesn't post that often. I haven't read any posts of his regarding clicking Chinese scopes over the years.

He likes his really super expensive high end guns like Thomas and Steyrs. Tried to bug him years ago to sell me some of his nice guns with no such luck.

Believe it or not many think he and I are the same person. Then again there's probably 20-30 other currently active AGN members who people really think are me as well that have dirtied up their green ball accuracy profile with such false accusations.

Even when I post with identical time stamps.

At least there's trackable evidence who exactly left the feedback so they can be watched.

Who is Coldking?

Also, I click my cheap UTGS no problem

I'm starting to click my UTGs as well and they seem to work OK but sooner or later they will fail like everything else with enough use. Everyone seems to click theirs so why not? Thats what your Lifetime Warranty is for.

Agreed. I click my UTG. So far, so good thousands of rounds and clicks in!

Same no problem. They are actually pretty good (the bugbusters). I don't buy the illuminated one so I would assume that would have a faster failure rate but I am thinking of getting one of those as well.

I don't think Coldking would ever buy any Chinese scope anyway. He is only onto ultra high end stuff with no cheapness for anything and I think he only uses $3000+ scopes so it's highly doubtful they are Chinese made.

I looked up the profile. I've never seen him post. He likes Thomas rifles, so definitely not Odoyle haha. Reminds me of John_in_Ma....wish he was still around

From Mike Niesh (SP?) the maker. See Benchrest forum. There's a rather long wait and sizeable deposit is required but hard to beat their accuracy unless you get a MAC1 USFT or a RAW that may only tie it for close to half the price if you're lucky but not beat it.

I'd say the Korean made Sumatra and Career II 707 and unregulated UK Theoben Rapids and old unregulated FX guns along with their relabeled variants with their factory older Lothar Walther Barrels may give them a very good rub at 50 and 100 yards but they don't count since they are older guns that are no longer currently being made. Not even the new Korean current model replacements are as accurate than the Sumatras and Career II 707s.
