Beeman Scope for my Beeman Rx-2 Theoben

i have an Element Helix 4-16 x 44 not currently in use that I'm considering mounting on the RX-2 but I certainly dont want to destroy a $400 scope. Anyone have any thoughts about approp of using it?
I would be more concerned about the scope mounts. Scope mounts tend to creep on these rifles.I had a Leupold Euro-30 1,25-4x20
scope for a long time, no problems. But it is a rare and expensive scope. Unfortunately, I don’t remember what kind of scope mount I had.

I would stop at the minimum magnification of the scope that suits you, with a 30mm tube, with a lens diameter of up to 40mm. I would also consider scopes with constant magnification, they are more robust. A scope with a variable magnification of 14 and a lens diameter of 44mm is definitely not the best option. 33 joules is a lot of power.

Find yourself an old Leupold 3-9-40 EFR or a Nikon EFR . Both have duplex reticles but are light and will hold up without issue. Not to mention really good glass .
Those are definitely worthy. The Bausch and Lomb 4000 series and Bushnell Elite 4200s are also light and strong with great glass...

On magnum piston guns?
Nikon Monarch and Buckmaster series are very good scopes, but I wouldn't risk it, I would stop at Leupold with a lifetime warranty. These two Nikons have much better glass than BL 4200, although I think BL 3200-4200 will work too.
