Hi everyone, I’m new here...and pretty new to the air gun world other than the cheap plinkers I had as a kid. I’m having a Crosman 1300kt built in the custom shop in .22 with the 18 inch barrel, long breach and rifle stock.....essentially turning the base model pistol into a rifle. Here’s the problem...I don’t really care for either of the scopes that are available in the custom shop and I really don’t know much at all about dovetail, Weaver, or Picatinny rails. I see the breach on my gun will come in dovetail and I think I’ve found a scope I like (UTG true hunter 4x32 AO dovetail). I don’t know if maybe this is a little large for this gun or if I’ll have enough clearance above the breach....and if I should look at a dovetail to Picatinny or weaver adapter. Like I said...I’m a newb...so any wisdom on all of this would be greatly appreciated.
