I am looking for a lower priced scope for an avenger. I am also hoping I can put the scope on my sons deer rifle this coming fall.

My thought is my son will get very comfortable with the air gun and scope. With the Airgun he can shoot anytime and learn to shoot.
Once deer season comes around I can move the scope from the Airgun to his .243 deer rifle. He will already know/understand the scope.

You might want to look at the air max. It's prof against the springers recoil and would hold up on the.243. Not sure about the vantage which is suppose to be for PCP's.
