I was able to find a Nikon 3-9x40 EFR to put on mine. It has a fairly plain duplex reticle which I like on a hunting rifle. And put the scope in some medium height westhunter double screw rings . Zero slippage on the scope with a couple hundred pellets through it now. Leupold also makes a 3-9x40 EFR . Both scopes mentioned are spring gun rated. But getting harder to find.
I use one athlon talos on everything spring. Gamo , beeman, hw , hatsan and it taken a pounding from them all over 7 or so years . Thing is it has a no question asked lifetime warranty and in kansas for quick turnaround if ever needed . I got a extra store demo talos i sent in and came back like new .
There neos line is a little less but no mildot . ( Why ??) ..lol.
Vector Veyron, Optisan CP, GPO: price and optical quality in that order. All good scopes. Some available in SFP or FFP, 3-12X or 4-16X, less than 10 inches in length and less than 20 oz.
I just threw on a ol'gamo package scope .. cant focus past 4x and you got to Scotch tape the power ring in place but of holds good zero .. Edit ...this morning first shots at 50y (gphp.177)
It really don't matter the scope used its more if it will be long lasting and hold zero . That recoil will ether rattle one out or it holds up .. lol
Scoping a springer .. You buy , you try , and hope it dont make you cry ..
