scope for a pcp

do i need a air gun specific scope for a pcp?

You don't need the design specific for springer recoil, but air gun scopes generally have appropriate parallax. I generally buy scopes that focus to 10 meters or so.

No just about any will work look around the site for scope. Keep away from the cheap ones.
