Scope for a Lelya

I honestly don't think I've ever been at this kind of a loss before when it comes to a scoping a rifle. I've had the Lelya for a while and it's been 'over scoped' since day 1 wearing an Aztec, the scope I had on hand. I knew I wouldn't keep it that way but I've never come to a decision on the right scope, so I keep shooting it as is. I'm at a cross road. I really like the rifle but at the same time have not gotten really comfortable shooting it, I think much of my dilemma is the scope.

The majority of my shooting is paper punching between 10 and 40 yards. Looking for an available scope, with at least 12x capability, lighter weight! Not worried about SFP vs FFP or tube diameter, or IR.

Ideas to search are welcome.

I recently started using a Discovery Optics VT-T 6-24X50 and I absolutely love it.
Previously, I've mostly shot mid/long range 30-100 yards, so used Nikon optics..
[Min focus was too far, as they were all more designed for no parallax @ 50 yards]
Now [NY Winter] I'm shooting short range indoors, so needed something more flexible..
With this scope, I can obtain a crystal clear focus/image of my targets @ 10 or so yards,
and I'll still be able to use it to reach out and touch things at long distance too..

Hajimoto has a great Youtube video review of this model scope:

I went with the shortest/longest distance combo that I could find..
If they didn't offer that version, I would have went with their 4.5-18 x version.

Joe has a great Youtube video review of the Discovery Optics VT-t 4.5-18x44:

PS: Both of those scopes also come with a scope-cam [cellphone] mount,
and apparently, as long as you're not using a Samsung Galaxy Note 8, they work great!

I just got a Burris Timberline 4.5-14x32 for my Leshiy and it seems to be a great scope so far (have not had the chance to use it much). Light, compact, focuses down to 7 yards and you still have up to 14x if you need it. It was recommended by a couple members who already had and liked it. I posted about it in the optics section if you want to see pics.

I recommend the Bushnell Accelerate 4X scope. Fits the Lelya perfectly... Yes, its only 4X, but you'll hit targets easily out to 50 or 60 yards, and the Lelya isn't a long range gun to start with. Very light weight, super clear class, very nice reticle...

I second that on the Bushnell. They make a really nice scope. And bonus: They are very light. My Engage is 16 oz.

Minox. A light/small gun deserves a light/small scope. And an excellent reticle.

I ordered the small Discovery. They seem to be out of stock everywhere, maybe the model has been discontinued in favor of new models coming out. I figured for the price, I'd try it. But then again it could be a knockoff as the only place I could find it was China but I ordered through Amazon... I'm willing to spend up for the right scope, but this is new territory for me. I always seem to end up with the same scope on all my guns, so that's 8-10 of the same scope on hand at any given time. They are just too big for the Lelya though.
