Scope adjustment

I slid the scope on the S510 forward a bit so it fits me better. Was amazed the first shot went about 8” high. Spent some time getting it zeroed back to the aim point. Shooting JSB Exact 10.34s.

Managed to get a few in the .66” circle from 36 yards. Still learning.

Sounds like your gun is regulated. (Has a regulator in it).

You can just waste the first few shots to settle things b4 doing any serious shooting.

OH Disregard just reread that you slid your scope forward that's why.

Try 10.5gr Brown box Crosman Premiers and H&N Barracuda 10.6gr pointed looking ones.

Your groups should be one ragged hole if your power is set at between 2/3 to 3/4.

Yes, it is amazing how much scope height above the bore effect the trajectory. It seems that moving your scope forward changed this. I was inputting different scope height and reticle zero numbers into StrelokPro the other day to see what the best zero for my caliber and power was, and was enlightened on just how much the close range shots were effected be height.
