I have "old eyes" myself and now have 3 airguns with different scopes. I have an Element Optics Helix 6x24x50 SFP on one; a Hawke Airmax 6x24x50 on another and finally an MTC Viper Connect 3x12x32. I have to say that the FOV on the MTC is really nice and it is quite easy to make precise shots at 50 yards with it. I have it mounted on a Brocock Sniper XR in .22 caliber and it is spot on at 50 yards with the MTC. I can hit accurately at 100 yards with it, but I would be very hesitant to shoot something that's alive with it at that range as I try like most of us here to deliver a "kill shot" each time for ethical treatment of the animal... even a rat. I'm trying to get my cousin who lives in Ft Lauderdale to invite me down and I'll bring the Brocock to shoot lizards!
