My hand tight fitting that threads onto my scba bottle is leaking looks to be a white plastic seal that goes into the bottle valve any ideas???

Try flip that white o-ring around and see if that helps. If so then that needs replacing eventually.

It looks like the hard plastic type cga347 seal. Not an o ring. There are a couple different ones. Look for a nick in the plastic. If it is nicked, you can buy just the part for $10 to $30 off eBay or at MCMaster Carr. Here is a link off eBay. Just look up cga347.

Sorry. Link didn’t work. I have both styles with the oring and plastic. Sometimes you can tighten the hand nut and twist the whole gauge setup just a bit to seal.

Bummers man too bad! That's the seal that makes it not leak up the threads.

I've replaced mine with rubber/ neoprene o-ring type seal & it works fine, doesn't last as long but I have about 50 of them that I ordered for a different cga fitting. PM me & I'll send you some. Been trying to get the original type from Scott (SCBA manufacturer) but never get replies to my inquiries.

Have you tried a LITTLE silicone grease on it then rocking it back and forth as you tighten the knob. Also once on you can back fill through it, no need to remove. The most you need is a male to male foster fitting.

Hey guys I found a white washer from north shore compressors for a 1.25 and 1.45 for shipping should be here soon so I'll see if its what I needed! And yes I've tried the silicone grease with no luck my washer must have a nick or crack? Will update when the new washer arrives!
