EDgun SCBA burst disc replacement - correction: Edgun EZ-fill 360-degree adapter o-ring burst

Hi all,

I believe my "burst disc" for my Air Venturi 100 cu-in SCBA tank burst. This is the AV-4516HPT, in case the exact model matters.

Is this something I should get a rebuild kit for, from the manufacturer, or are suitable replacement burst discs and parts easily obtained elsewhere?

Perhaps my Google-searching skills are rusty but I'm not coming up with any hits for exactly this. I have found a rebuild kit for the AV-4590HPT. Unclear if they have the same plumbing...

Leaking from the pressure release holes in burst disc nut (like a Scott valve)? Not familiar AV valve. Picture?

It was leaking from the little hole on the right.

Oh, it's not the burst disc. It's a ruptured o-ring that was the problem. The o-ring for the Edgun EZ-fill. Perhaps I over-tightened it.

Looks like it requires a 12mm x 17mm x 2.5mm Buna-N 90, so I put in an order for a pile of them.

U got it! IF it was leaking from the nut under the bleed valve it WOULD have been your burst disc. My tanks are all require cga347 fittings & I ALWAYS have extra fill adapter o-rings with me as they are the 1st thing to "give way". Glad you figured it out.
