Perhaps you can remove 5 to 8+mm off the end of that muzzle and just re-crown it?

Pretty sure it Won't shoot Worse.

OK then that is one lovely barrel you have there for sure. ;^) I have a couple of my own although not quite as purdy as yours though. The first barrel on my SK-19 looked pretty nice straight from LW, the second one was modified by the USPS folks, the third kind of like the first from LW although on the chamber end instead of the crown. Surprisingly these shot kind of OK but with lots of fliers. Good thing the gun only costs $2000 cuz if it was more I might be a bit unhappy.
