There are two ads on the AA classifieds using my scopes, Aeon and Sightrons pictures from my ads here on AGN. The scammers email and assumed name is John Bair, [email protected]. he asked for money gram or western union sent to 165 Lakeshore Lane, Highstown, NJ 08520.

Hopefully, the Money Gram and Western Union requests are red flags to anyone that sees them.

Thanks for the heads up, had to do a search for the ad.

Did you email Brad ? ( I just did, little punk is using my favorite handle, not like stealing but ).
Always email Brad, please, I hear he does now have "some" help, he does care about such things.

These days I mostly buy from old timers, which is great if you've been into this since before the Internet.
Newer folks ( esp Brad's and newer sites ) don't have that advantage.

I never buy from any listing in an illegal place ( NJ , how are you going to send me a Firearm? ) NYC , "could" be ligit but if so they are already breaking so many laws I wouldn't deal with them.

I thought it odd the price went UP so much when it showed up on Brad's, I look most days maybe I'll start PM'ing people if I see something here first then elsewhere, and, it looks funny.

Now,

Tat scope of your is ( was ?) a SCREAMING good deal. I have one or would have grabbed it.

If one reads Google's user rules, you'd think they would investigate if someone complained. To the best of my knowledge, Google doesn't investigate, and it even appears they're part of the problem, not part of the solution. Just the fact someone uses a gmail account, is reason enough for me to shy away.

yes, webmaster @ airguns . net it the "report problems" button far upper right on hid page.
I sent him a email with , ad munber xxxxxx is a fake, then ever so brief description. " pictures were stolen from agn".

I checked my email about 3 hours later and he'd written back, thanks deleted.

Excpect when he is out of town everytime I've emailed the bad ad's leave asap.
