On the way to work this morning I had a black bear mom and her two cubs cross the road about 50 yards in front of my car. Made my day and made me feel lucky to witness these animals just ambling along.

LOL perhaps it was the way my buddy’s wife prepared it, that made it taste good.
Also it was black bear IIRC. Perhaps other types of bears taste like poop depending on their diet

had a mama and a cub visit almost every night for 6 weeks last summer.

I agreed, seeing them around speaks to a healthy ecosystem... and I did feel very lucky to see them... so yes, “good medicine”.

No, but my wife has been illustrating a book about a black bear family for two months. So it was quite a coincidence. This is the second time in my life I’ve seen a bear family moving along.
