Saw a family of bears this morning...

They are magnificent animals. Perfectly evolved apex predators. And they’re tasty too




oh? I head they are greasy and terrible. But could be he is trying to keep a secret, hunters are notorious of that Hahahaha.

LOL perhaps it was the way my buddy’s wife prepared it, that made it taste good. 
Also it was black bear IIRC. Perhaps other types of bears taste like poop depending on their diet

yikes, I don’t need to be anywhere near those claws. Beef tastes pretty good if you ask me.

yikes, I don’t need to be anywhere near those claws. Beef tastes pretty good if you ask me.

I like a good porterhouse every now and then
 
had a mama and a cub visit almost every night for 6 weeks last summer.

Nothing like opening the front door and being nose to nose with momma.....

Native Americans around here consider her presence to be “good medicine”

I agreed, seeing them around speaks to a healthy ecosystem... and I did feel very lucky to see them... so yes, “good medicine”.
